The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the work of journalists from a post-pandemic perspective

Published studies verified that the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced on various aspects of journalists’ work. The authors of this article took a post-pandemic perspective. Their aim is to identify which of these changes have become a permanent result of the new situation. In order to achieve the research goal, the authors conducted a survey in April and May 2022. 55 journalists from Lodz took part in it. The survey shows that 94,5% of respondents noticed the impact of the pandemic on their work. The indicated changes were primarily related to the mode of work, the discussed subject and tools used to contact with interlocutors. The survey shows that some of new solutions were positively perceived by respondents and some of them would like to use them in the post-pandemic reality.
