The article is an attempt to take reflections about the truth in photography based on one of the most prestigious journalist contest – World Press Photo. Already, even the semantic meaning of latin terms imago (picture) and imaginatio (illusion) are close. It is possible to description photography as representation of reality? Or maybe, it is a just an abortive copy which is unable to certify the authenticity of the facts?
