Truth and freedom as the foundation of peace in the aspect of media communication - the context of papal teaching

Media today are the main narrator in society. They have the power to shape the views, attitudes, opinions, tastes and lifestyles. They are ubiquitous. In the era of wide-reaching relativism, where values are no longer so clear and obvious they need but solid pillars upon which to base their message. The Roman Catholic Church in papal teaching points to three such values. These are truth, freedom, and peace. With the first two as inextricably linked together, they constitute the foundation for building the third one. Finally, it's also worth noting, that all is based on the canva of responsibility.
