The historical necessity of the crisis of authorities and the culture of immaturity

The article begins with a description of thinking in terms of so-called historical necessity, which recognizes certain processes as inevitable and therefore impossible to counteract. Some examples of such thinking, also found in pedagogy and education, are described in the article. Special attention is paid to two related processes, often treated as historical necessity – the crisis of authority, caused by various factors, and the cult of youth, which casts young and immature people as role-models in our society. These two phenomena produce a significant, negative effect – marginalization, social exclusion and contempt for elderly people.
