The communication of Polish bishops in the context of the crisis of pedophilia. Concern for the principles of effective communication

The purpose of the publication is to analyze the effectiveness of communication of Polish bishops in a crisis situation related to the disclosure in the years 2018–2019 of cases of sexual abuse of some Polish priests against minors. The study analyzed the Letter of the Permanent Council of the Polish Episcopal Conference (KEP) Sensitivity and responsibility of 22/05/2019, statements of the Primate of Poland Archbishop Wojciech Polak on the movie by Tomasz Sekielski from 11/05/2019, statements of the chairman of the KEP Archbishop Stanisław Gądecki from 11/05/2019 and the interview of Beata Lubecka from Radio Zet with Archbishop Polak from 15/05/2019. In the research were used the discourse analysis method and the analysis and synthesis method.
