Ecopoetics by Ryszard Kapuściński

The purpose of the article is to analyze the legacy of Ryszard Kapuściński in the context of the main concepts of ecocriticism. The author of this research focuses on Kapuściński’s poetry, reportage and Lapidaria in order to answer the question how the reporter constructs journalistic and literary representations of nature. The article outlines that the reporter often presents the ecological issues, showing the man as an immanent part of the ecosystem who is particularly obliged to take care of the natural environment.
