In the age of increasing threat from terrorism and fundamentalism the need of multicultural and multi-religious dialogue in more important than ever. Many people rooted from different branches make an effort to build the field on which this dialogue can develop. Apart from politicians, businessmen and philosophers there is one particular group, which has the big role to play in this matter – religious leaders, teachers, preachers and authorities. One of the most recognized and controversial reformer is Australian imam Mohammad Tawhidi. The purpose of this paper is to introduce him, his views and activities and evaluate if his propositions really can change Islam for better and can be considered as useful for building varied, but united society.
